Hobsons MBA - Melbourne Business School (MBS) is one of the largest business schools in the Asia-Pacific region and a leader in management education. We focus on preparing future leaders for taking their place on the world stage.

The Melbourne MBA

The Melbourne MBA is a practical, rigorous and internationally focussed programme. It combines innovative teaching methods with cutting-edge research and strong academic principles. The programme encourages interaction through syndicate work, collaborative assignments and class discussion using business case studies from world-leading organisations.

Executive Education

Mt Eliza executive education, a part of MBS, is ranked by the Financial Times as the No. 1 provider of executive education in Australia and Asia Pacific. This position underscores our commitment to quality and worldwide reputation for delivering excellence in management education and executive development.

MBA programs offered

  • General MBA: full time and part time, involving face-to-face classes, 20 subjects
  • MBA/Master of Marketing: full time and part time
  • Juris Doctor (JD)/MBA: full time, involving face-to-face contact, 15 MBA and 22 JD subjects
  • MBA (Professional): part time, 16 subjects, flexible mode delivery
  • Executive MBA: part time, involving four one-month residential modules

Entry requirements

  • An undergraduate degree
  • A minimum of two years' work experience
  • A GMAT score
  • Proficiency in English

Length of program

Executive MBA: 14 months
General MBA: 16 or 20 months
MBA (Professional): Two years
